Earle started as an apprentice chef in 1963 with the Federal Pacific Hotel Group at “Lennon’s Hotels” in Toowoomba, Brisbane and the Gold Coast. After the 4 year indenture was completed Earle worked in various hotels:

• Brisbane, The Ridge Motel, Sous Chef,
• Hides Hotel Cairns, Chef,
• Robert Towns Motel Townsville, Sous Chef,
• Centenary Hotel Townsville as Chef & Cellarman.

Earle then joined the Park Royal Hotel, Brisbane as a trainee manager. After a takeover by Travelodge Australia he worked his way up to become:

• Food and Beverage Manager / Assistant Property manager at Tullamine Travelodge & Brisbane Kangaroo Travelodge
• Property manager for Caravilla’s at Mackay, Rockhampton, St. Kilda Road, Chadstone and Melbourne.
• Property Manager at Northbourne Travelodge, Canberra.

In 1979 Earle traveled overland to London and worked for two years in the UK as a relief hotel, Country Club Manager and Chef in various hotels, restaurants and clubs. He was also the Chef in a private residence (Eton Square) to members of the Saudi Royal family. On return to Australia Earle re-joined the “Travelodge Kangaroo Point” as relief Department Head for a short period. Earle then purchased a food take away business in Nambour and turned this into a successful enterprise before selling.

Earle then traveled to Bali to manage the “Waltzing Matilda” an Australian themed restaurant and bar that had become an overnight success. He set up the restaurant and bar and trained staff to cook for a large number of covers. He also established a stock control and accounting system. Nightly stage and game shows were organised.  Visa stay restrictions meant a return back to Australia after 9 months. Earle returned to Townsville and became the Food & Beverage and Assistant Manager of “Lowth’s Hotel”. After the sale of the hotel he took up the position as the Food & Beverage Manager at the newly opened “Kewarra Beach Resort” in Cairns.

Earle then spent time with the Barclay Bank, operating properties that had been repossessed by the bank to increase profitability prior to the sale of the properties. During this time Earle began consulting a number of developers about their new projects. He was approached by “North Catering Equipment” to join the company in early 1986. Earle worked his way up the ladder to become one of the directors and the main consultant and project manager. In 2000, North Catering Equipment was sold and the name changed.

 Earle then joined Prestige Appliance and set up Catermaster which was a very successful arm of Gas & Cookware Pty. Ltd. for 8 years but the demise of Prestige Appliances forced all of the businesses to close. Earle joined Chef Link in 2009 as a QBSA licenced project consultant for large commercial kitchen fit outs.
